OFCCP Develops Reasonable Accommodation Pocket Card

By | October 19, 2015

On October 19, 2015, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) announced a new Reasonable Accommodation Pocket Card. The card uses easy to understand language and answers four common questions about requesting a reasonable accommodation. The pocket card can be found at: http://www.dol.gov/ofccp/posters/files/ReasonableAccomodationPockectCard_10-15-15_JRFQA508c.pdf.

The pocket card, titled “Requesting a Reasonable Accommodation”, asks and answers the following four questions: what is a reasonable accommodation, how do I request a reasonable accommodation, what do I need to tell my employer, and what happens next. The pocket card is in eight sections, which can be printed and assembled into a small document that can be easily carried, or copies can be requested from the OFCCP help desk at 1-800-397-6251.
