OFCCP Emails Customer Experience Survey to Contractors

By | August 17, 2015

On August 17, 2015, many contractors received an email from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) with a link to a customer experience survey. The limited information on the OFCCP website states that the survey was sent to contractors that have undergone compliance evaluations in the last four years. Contactors are not required to complete the survey. A copy of the survey can be viewed on the OMB website at: http://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAViewIC?ref_nbr=201104-1225-001&icID=204752. The OFCCP has posted some information on their website, which can be found at: http://www.dol.gov/ofccp/customerexperiencesurvey.html.

While the OFCCP claims that all responses are anonymous when completing the survey online through SurveyMonkey, contractors that are concerned about anonymity can print the survey and mail it to Debra Carr, Director, Division of Policy and Program Development at the address provided on the OFCCP webpage for the survey. The majority of the questions ask contractors to rate statements on their experiences with compliance officers, compliance reviews, and on-site visits on a 1-5 scale of strongly agree to strongly disagree, along with an option for not sure. Two questions have responses prior to 2008 and after 2008, but not during 2008. The last question asks contractors to provide any suggestions for improving interactions with the OFCCP during a compliance evaluation. The survey will be open until October 31, 2015.
