On August 24, 2015, the 2015 filing period for the EEO-1 Report opened. The report is due September 30, 2015. The 2014 EEO-1 Report was open for filing in July 2014, allowing employers over two full months to gather and input the data. Companies have just over one month this year, however, they may request a one-time 30 day extension, which moves the due date to October 30, 2015. The EEO-1 Report webpage can be found at: http://www.eeoc.gov/employers/eeo1survey/index.cfm.
The main page for the EEO-1 Report lists several changes for the 2015 filing. Companies are now able to obtain and reset their passwords, company locations with the same address and NAICS code must consolidate into a single record, and the requirement to provide an Employer Identification Number for each establishment will be more closely monitored.
