On October 17, 2014, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) posted a new Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) clarifying the listing requirements for remote jobs. The VEVRAA FAQs, can be found at: http://www.dol.gov/ofccp/regs/compliance/faqs/VEVRAA_faq.htm.
The VEVRAA regulations require contractors to list their job openings with the appropriate employment service delivery system (ESDS) where the opening occurs. For “remote positions” where the employee will telecommute full time, the FAQ clarifies that contractors should list the job opening “with the state or local ESDS where the work unit, division, department or supervisor to which the employee will report or be assigned is located.”
