CSAL Notifications

By | November 21, 2012

In mid-November, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) sent out a new round of Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters (CSALs).

The letters are being sent to individual establishments that have been identified for potential Compliance Reviews as opposed to headquarters locations with an attached list of establishments that may receive Compliance Review Scheduling Letters.  Headquarters EEO/AA staff should alert staff at field locations to watch for the CSALs.  There have also been reports of contractors receiving a scheduling letter within days of receiving a CSAL.  The OFCCP is not required to send these “advanced warning” letters and the letters are not all-inclusive.  A contractor may not receive a CSAL for all sites scheduled to be audited, or may not get one at all before receiving a scheduling letter.
