On April 26, 2011, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) published an revisions to the affirmative action regulations for veterans. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) can be found at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2011-04-26/pdf/2011-8693.pdf.
The proposed regulations would make significant changes to the current regulations including significant data tracking requirements and hiring benchmarks. The proposed regulations would also require a pre-offer solicitation of generic veteran status and detailed documentation of employment decisions affecting veterans.
